I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mathematics at NYU Shanghai, where I also completed my B.S. in Honors Mathematics in 2017.

Previously, from September 2022 to August 2025, I was a postdoctoral researcher at IHES, where I was mentored by Hugo Duminil-Copin. In May 2022, I obtained my Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Courant Institute, NYU, co-advised by Yuri Bakhtin and Jean-Christophe Mourrat.

I am interested in probability theory and probabilistic models arising from statistical physics.

You can contact me via email at hbc236(at)nyu(dot)edu. Information about my teaching experience, talks, and other activities can be found in my CV.
